Last night's XLT was amazing for me personally. Yeah, I know I help lead worship all the time. But maybe because of Matthew Baute being there to help co-lead, maybe it was the teens, maybe it was Greg's talk, maybe it was singing with Lisa and Paula, maybe it was going out to Friday's afterward... it was like a veil was lifted and the first time I have been able to experience Easter joy. Yeah, I know... it was Jesus, the Risen Lord Himself who sets us free.

It was pretty cool.

Still reeling from lots of stuff going on, but I just gotta say I really enjoyed this weekend retreat for St. Clements. It was small but kinda laid back and very prayerful. Some new songs we did... You Make Everything Glorious and You Are My Joy by DCB, Communion by Third Day, and we learned The Glory of Your Name by Christy Nockels. Its really fun for me to learn new music -- like it just gives me life!

Sad days...
