We had a great time at In the House In the Band last night. We had a serious (not) recording session and then had fun with photo booth.

Went to "Wicked" in Chicago last night -- man, what an awesome performance!

Reggae music, musicals, and Cajun food -- among the many things I enjoy I think partly because it's so different than anything I can do myself. (How can I incorporate etoufee into my next CD?)

The next few weeks the readings are all based on the Bread from heaven. John 6 is where Jesus lays it out there, "I myself am the bread of life. Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life within you". People stopped following him over those words. Think about that. I think we just found our Gospel reading for the next XLT.

It's about 100 degrees out, but I don't need a heat index to tell me how hot it "feels".
